Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Afni is hiring a Talent Acquisition Coordinator who significantly contributes to the overall success of the Talent Acquisition Team by providing a high level of customer service, support, and project coordination throughout the talent acquisition process. This role will be responsible for lead to applicant conversion and managing and filling interview slots. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will coordinate the candidate experience and ensure the process results in a positive candidate experience.

What you will be doing:

Candidate Sourcing/Selection/Hiring:

  • Successfully manage candidate sourcing and evaluation based on candidate experience, skills, goals, and competencies to determine best fit for role and organization.
  • Manage the agent job requisition process (open and close hiring requisitions) and monitor for compliance.
  • Use the Applicant Tracking System (ADP) and the Recruitment Marketing Tool (Smashfly) to source, convert, contact, nurture, and schedule prospective employees to meet hiring goals of the assigned work group.
  • As required, plan and participate in successful recruitment events supporting targeted needs of the organization (career fairs, realistic job previews, etc.).
  • Extend job offers, schedule and monitor pre-employment background checks and drug testing, and process new-hire onboarding documentation.
  • Send out daily reports on the progress of assigned hiring requisitions.

Talent Acquisition Support:

  • When necessary, support multi-site recruiting by working with the Talent Acquisition Team and candidates remotely (email, phone, Skype) and in-person. This includes servings as a backup interviewer. If applicable, may coordinate pre-employment testing with candidates.
  • Support Talent Acquisition programs development and identify recommendations to continuously improve the recruitment processes and the tools used to ensure optimal performance.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, competitive employment landscape, market intelligence, and innovative recruiting techniques to attract and compete in a competitive market.

Requirements

What you will need:

  • Two or more years of human resources, recruitment, administrative, or related experience.
  • Experience and proficiency with various web-based software applications and applicant tracking systems.
  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Strong customer focus and effective use of a consultative approach.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail.
  • Strong time-management and prioritization skills, able to multi-task and prioritize competing requirements and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in which requirements constantly change.
  • Proven success in an accountability-based culture.
  • Demonstrated integrity in all business interactions and personal commitments.
  • Knowledge of recruiting laws and practices.
  • Exceptionally high degree of professionalism and integrity.
  • Possesses the accountability and personal responsibility to own and drive results.
  • Provides clear and concise reporting to business leaders and HR colleagues for tracking progress in sourcing candidates for current as well as anticipated open roles.
  • Assists in building action plans where progress in filling roles is lacking and ensure business leaders have clear understanding of mitigation plans.
  • Fosters and maintains strong internal relationships with HR colleagues and business leaders.
