Subrogation Team Manager

Afni is hiring a Subrogation Team Manager who is responsible for leading a team of Specialists for a specific line of business by developing, motivating, mentoring, guiding, and supporting the team's activities to ensure a quality work product, client satisfaction and exceptional recovery results.

What you will be doing:

  • Supervisory responsibilities include overseeing a team of Specialists, preparation of score cards, work map audits, enforcement of department / company policies on attendance, disciplinary procedures, hiring, recognition, as well as the advanced training and skill development of Specialists (includes annual performance appraisal process).
  • Handles escalated calls / situations, promptly responds to inquires from staff to ensure maximum departmental performance and client satisfaction.
  • Mentor team of specialist, answering daily emails and questions from the floor.

Requirements

What you will need:
  • Five years of relevant Subrogation and /or Insurance experience is required.
  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to motivate and drive maximum department collections and develop new and improved techniques to ensure achievement of Afni and client goals.
  • Demonstrated solid negotiation skills are required.
  • Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills are required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office applications and windows systems are preferred.
