Sr. Director Global Training & Development

Afni is seeking a Senior Director of Training & Development to lead our global employee training and development organization. You'll work directly with our executive leadership to define a holistic strategy and lead the team through execution.

What you'll be doing:

  • Work with our executive leadership to define a holistic strategy and lead the Training & Development team.
  • Provide leadership for the three functional areas of our Training & Development organization:
    • Agent Training team. All aspects of our front-line training from initial onboarding through long term skill development
    • Leadership Training team. Operations Leadership professional skill development
    • Curriculum development team. training materials to support the agent & leadership training groups.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, internally and with clients, on all facets of employee training and learning solutions
  • Create a holistic training vision, infusing proven industry best practices, & new concepts. We embrace new ideas!
  • Develop business plans to accomplish the vision with clear objectives, timelines, and success measures.
  • Staying closely in tune with the latest adult education tactics and practices, and freedom to test new concepts.
  • Collaborate with leaders across our business to identify employee development needs and solutions
  • Provide leadership for management level direct reports
  • Develop key performance indicators and goals focused on maintaining a high level of stakeholder satisfaction
  • Manage the departmental budget and resources

Requirements

Our ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Training, Learning Development, or related field, and a minimum of 5 years' experience in the following areas;
  • Leading a multi-site global training organization in an outsourced BPO or contact center environment
  • Extensive knowledge of adult learning principals and modern training techniques
  • Experience with curriculum creation, leadership development, front line training, and Learning Management systems
  • Comfortable working with levels in the organization and engaging with external business clients
  • Must be able to navigate a rapidly changing environment, and multi-task with a high attention to detail
  • Exhibit polished written and verbal communication skills
  • Motivated and able to self-direct activity with minimal guidance
  • Analytical and strategic, able to conceptualize solutions and translating to practical solutions
  • Requires approximately 25% travel domestically along with occasional international travel.
