Compliance Administrator

Afni is hiring a Compliance Administrator who is responsible for maintenance of and updates to key elements of Afni’s Compliance Management System in response to regulatory or statutory changes, or integration of new product lines in the Receivables Management division. The incumbent assists with several compliance functions including documentation, change management, and dissemination of compliance related information, and will be a contributing member of cross functional work groups focused on designing, developing, and implementing solutions to strengthen compliance controls.

What you will be doing:


  • Maintenance of RM policy and procedure manual including maintenance of compliance policies, SOPs, and related job aids, as well as monitoring process documentation owned and maintained by other business units such as Operations and IT
  • Maintenance of Afni’s inventory of compliance obligations library including adding new and updated obligations, updating existing entries when needed, and proactively identifying when updates are needed
  • Prepare reports and agendas for Compliance Committee meetings and ensure meeting minutes and notes are consistently tracked, stored, and easily accessible for reference

Digital CMS maintenance

  • Maintain and enhance existing team SharePoint sites, lists, and libraries within the RM Compliance Management System structure
  • Monitor department specific Compliance hub sites to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of content available
  • Assist with development of new solutions to consolidate, integrate, and share compliance information
  • Work with management and the Compliance Committee to communicate appropriate compliance related information and track employee engagement with the information being shared

Compliance Project Implementation Support

  • Coordinate with IT and Operations teams to monitor and drive implementation of join compliance solutions
  • Work with management to ensure proper change management principles are utilized including keeping all stakeholders updated on progress of key initiatives that are in progress


  • Assist with compiling responses to regulatory inquiries including on-going reporting to regulators responsive to Afni’s CFPB consent order, and recurring state licensing audits


What you will need:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two years of collections or similar experience required and three years of work experience in a process driven environment preferred.
  • Experience with third-party or debt purchase collections operations and compliance required with experience in financial services (auto and credit card collections) preferred.
  • Trained in support of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and Fair Credit Reporting Act.
  • Basic understanding of financial reports, demonstrated math skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task with attention to detail is required.
  • Proficient in basic MS Office products such as Word, Excel, and OneNote required
  • Experience with SharePoint, Power Automate, and PowerBI preferred
  • Seeks collaborative solutions to address compliance issues.
  • Exhibits clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Builds cross functional relationships.
  • Can articulate thought process and rationale behind decision making.
  • Demonstrated experience involved in negotiations, sales or collections.
  • Ability to diffuse escalated situations.
