RPA Application Support Specialist

Position Purpose:

Application Support Specialist who will perform administrative, maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting functions for Afni’s business applications. Additionally, this position will require the employee to support applications in a Global Network Operations Center as well as Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team of business analysts and application developers to implement best practices for documenting and supporting existing and new applications.
  • Provide second level support for GNOC business applications, including; trouble ticket review, triage, resolution or reassignment to third level support.
  • Provide second level support for RPA business applications, including; trouble ticket review, triage, resolution or reassignment to third level support.
  • Maintain and use application knowledgebase to document common issues and resolution.
  • Monitor application environment for issues and resolve or escalate proactively before end-users experience issues.
  • Participate in outage conference calls and collaborate with cross functional teams to assist in troubleshooting and resolving outage related issues.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with Management, Customers, and Support Teams.
  • Provide excellent customer service in all communications.

Minimum Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Skills):

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field of study.
  • Software development experience is required
  • Development skills needed: java development, J2EE, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, .NET development, RPA (UiPath preferable), cloud development technologies.
  • The aptitude and desire to learn additional technologies, such as JBoss, Azure, and Pega BPM.
  • The aptitude and desire to learn support tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio Team Services and AppDynamics.
  • RPA Administrative Support and Development experience.
  • Active Directory support experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Technologies.
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices helpful.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong team oriented mind set.
