Afni is hiring Web Chat Customer Sales Representatives for our contact center operations in Opelika, AL. Afni is a contact center company and our employees are the backbone of our business. When customers visit our clients' websites and need help, our web chat sales reps invite them to chat, make connections, answer questions, and close the sale!

As an Afni Web Chat Customer Sales Representative, you will:

  • Work in our sales contact center and interact with customers using web chat technology.
  • Sell online customers new products, services, and accessories. People accept online invites to chat with our team -- there's no cold prospecting here!
  • Build connections and trust with customers.
  • Stick to your schedule, show up for work on time, and get involved with our company's culture and activities. The more you invest in your career here, the more we can give back to you.

Requirements

Bring it. You're qualified if you:

  • Have at least a year of sales experience in a contact center, retail, automotive, online, door-to door-sales, or outbound sales environment.
  • Love working on a sales team and are driven by earning commissions and meeting goals.
  • Have experience with a bonus or commission structure.
  • Are assertive, confident, competitive, and energetic.
  • Can type around 30 words per minute.
  • Have a proven ability to sell products and services, not just take orders.
  • Are a good multi-tasker. Our web chat sales representatives usually interact with 2-3 customers at a time.
  • Have an in-depth familiarity with digital products, including smartphones, tablets, and related accessories.
  • Are experienced with social media, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and others.
  • Have excellent writing skills and know your way around a keyboard.
  • Can use a computer and navigate the web.
  • Are ready to be part of a team and contribute to Afni's success.
  • Are at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Can pass a criminal background check.
