Afni is hiring a Call Center Trainer / Instructor to join our U.S. training organization and work from our contact centers in Tucson, AZ. In this role, you'll lead teams of entry-level new and existing call center representatives through training classes with a focus on helping people develop the skills and knowledge they need to be amazing. 

As an Afni Call Center Trainer / Instructor, you will:

  • Lead training classes through established curriculum.
  • Engage training and skills development classes in a way that enhances learning and knowledge retention.
  • Create an upbeat and interactive learning culture in the classroom.
  • Interact regularly with our operations leadership teams to get feedback on agent success beyond training.
  • Plan and prepare for training classes to meet training timelines.
  • Use the most effective and appropriate instructional methods / materials for each specific mode of learning.
  • Be measured by metrics such as employee retention, trainee certification, and post-training performance.

Requirements

Bring it. You're qualified if you:

  • Have earned a high school diploma or GED. Post-secondary education is preferred.
  • Have more than 1 year experience in training delivery leadership. Extra credit if that experience was in a call center environment. Super extra credit if the experience is in a sales or consumer collections call center environment.
  • Are a positive leader with proven ability in teaching, facilitation, and creative problem solving.
  • Communicate well, can positively resolve conflict, build consensus, and know how to plan things out.
  • Have solid presentation experience using flexible delivery methods (lecture, computer-based/assisted, performance, facilitation, cooperative learning) and tools/technology is preferred.
  • Have awareness and some experience (preferred) in design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training plans, curricula, and methodology.
  • Have excellent skills with MS Office.
  • Have a naturally positive attitude.
  • Are a problem-solver with a genuine desire to help people be successful.
  • Can work on more than one thing at a time and know how to prioritize.
  • Are ready to be part of a team and contribute to Afni's success.
  • Can pass a criminal background check.
  • Are at least 18 years old and legally able to work in the U.S.
