Afni is hiring a Leadership Development Specialist to join our U.S. training organization and work from our contact center in Opelika, AL. In this role, you will be the primary facilitator of leadership development curricula conducting integrated training needs assessments to support our call center operations. As a Leadership Development Specialist, you will partner with the leadership team on development plans and by providing operational implementation support activites.  You will serve as a liaison between the Talent Development team and their respective sites by attending site based meetings and communicating to management any relevant site issues and/or concerns.

As an Afni Leadership Development Specialist, you'll:

  • Support operational implementation and engagement through performing needs assessments, coaching observation sessions, development related quantitative and qualitative audits, provide development feedback and meeting with program owners to cultivate and build relationships.
  • Partner with Talent Development team to coordinate, facilitate & support any Operational Leadership Development initiatives as requested by site or program leadership
  • Evaluate, coordinate, design, and/or deliver a comprehensive range of training and education programs to support call center operations.
  • Contribute ideas in the planning, execution and continuous improvement of activities, courses and policies/ processes.
  • Perform reporting and administrative duties including tracking completion rates, measure and report on program effectiveness, ad hoc support as needed.

Requirements

What you need:
  • A four year college degree in Training/Development or related field and two to five years combined experience in training and operations.
  • Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate training plans, curricula, and methodology for synchronous and asynchronous delivery is preferred.
  • One year facilitation experience including virtual presentation is preferred.
  • Demonstrated performance consulting experience while using effective interaction skills is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to proactively resolve issues and develop employees.
  • Presentation experience using flexible delivery methods (lecture, computer-based/assisted, performance, facilitation, cooperative learning) and tools is preferred.
  • Proficiency in communication, planning, leadership, coordinating, and coaching is required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of staff and clients in a diverse environment are preferred.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and schedules to meet the needs of various projects.
