Afni is hiring a Marketing Specialist to join its fun corporate marketing team. You'll support sales efforts, write and distribute internal communications, assist with marketing campaigns, and help us keep all our marketing projects running smoothly. Our first preference is to fill this job with a qualified and passionate marketer willing to work from our Bloomington, Illinois corporate offices.

As a Marketing Specialist, you'll:

  • Help write proposal responses, create presentations, and gather information -- all in support of Afni's pursuit of new business. This person will work closely with our sales and client services leadership teams to grow our business and position Afni as a service provider of choice.
  • Maintain an accurate and useful sales support content library to make sales support projects run better. You'll know how to keep content up-to-date using content governance, excellent editing skills, and asset tag management.
  • Assist with internal communications activities, including planning, research, writing, and distribution.
  • Be an active participant in our integrated marketing activities. These include collateral development, digital marketing, event/tradeshow planning, and email campaigns.
  • Help keep our department projects on track. Part of this role is to keep our many marketing projects organized, documented, on track, and well communicated.
  • Get involved with various marketing projects to help bring them to fruition. Our marketing team is busy and there is always plenty of work to go around.

You're qualified if you:

  • Earned a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Human Resources, or similar.
  • Have at least 2 years' professional experience in a marketing or sales environment with solid examples and references to back it up.
  • Have some experience with proposal writing, sales support, email campaigns, or other marketing disciplines.
  • Have strong editorial experience. You should be an excellent writer and have real examples to prove it.
  • Are a natural project manager with good time management skills. Most of the time, you'll be juggling several projects at a time.
  • Have experience in the contact center/BPO, professional services, telecommunications, or P&C insurance industries. This is preferred, but not necessarily required.
  • Are generally analytical and creative.
  • Are ready to work with a fun team and be an influential contributor to our company's success.
