Afni is looking for an IT Project Manager who is responsible for overseeing various business and/or technology related projects that could be highly complex in nature. The incumbent is responsible for the initiation, planning, execution, control and closure of assigned IT impacted projects. Must ensure resources, scope, time and quality are managed in alignment with the external project environment (inside and outside of the company). Additional responsibilities are related to communication, documentation, management of costs, risks, and ensuring that all project needs are met.

What you will be doing:

  • Managing projects through all phases, from planning through implementation, to successful completion (on time and within budget). Managing Afni personnel and/or clients assigned to project teams.
  • Providing specifically identified services to department personnel in project management role as needed.Performing high-level analysis and/or quality assurance for assigned projects and those subject to Project Management Office oversight.
  • Integrating project results with production and other projects.
  • Developing, aligning, implementing and maintaining ITS processes especially as affected changes relate to service delivery and service support.

Requirements

What you will need:
  • A four year college degree is required and 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Project Management certification is required or must be attained.
  • Good presentations skills are required.
  • Prior managerial / leadership role with direct reports preferred.
  • Willingness / ability to adapt project management discipline to fit project needs.
  • Previous experience in formal education / training in management disciplines is highly desired.
  • General knowledge of all aspects of IT, including networking, software development, telephony and servers is required.
  • Knowledge of Afni business units and processes is highly desired.
  • Knowledge of call center technology / management topics is highly desired.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills (negotiation, team-building, positive thinking, can-do attitude, and job flexibility).
  • Demonstrated strong written, verbal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage project in a multi-project environment is required.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
  • Excellent reasoning and problem solving abilities.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain positive work relationships.
  • Excellent ability to deal with issues of a sensitive nature.
