We're hiring Health Care Insurance Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) for our call center operations in Bloomington, IL. The Health Care Insurance Customer Service Representative works with medical providers who are inquiring about the status of insurance claims. In this role, you will have the opportunity to interact with a variety of personalities and cultures using your strong communication and customer service skills. Successful candidates for this role are professional and demonstrate tact and diplomacy in interpersonal interactions and are able to assume responsibility with minimal supervision.

As a Call Center Customer Service Representative, you'll:

  • Answer incoming telephone calls in a prompt, professional, and friendly manner.
  • Actively listens to the provider inquiry, efficiently researches and provides status of claim to provider.
  • Enters data into the computer utilizing various Afni and client-software packages.
  • Attends training to update system and product knowledge. Participates in team meetings and coaching sessions.

Requirements

Bring it. You're qualified if you:

  • Have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Previous customer service experience strongly preferred.
  • Medical terminology and/or insurance billing process knowledge is a plus.
  • Possess strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient on the computer and computer applications.
  • Can pass a criminal background check.
