Afni is hiring a Business Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing Business Intelligence (BI) and reporting requirements, developing value-added BI solutions, and producing a variety of reports and dashboards. As a Business Analyst, you will assist in defining, designing, and developing reports and dashboards for all user groups including our executives as well as assist in strategic planning and provide feedback to strategy and operations leadership.

What you will be doing:

  • Work with business users to analyze BI and reporting requirements, develop value-added BI solutions, and produce a variety of reports and dashboards. 
  • Participate in requirements collection, analysis, definition, and documentation activities; assisting in defining and prioritizing content to be included in the Enterprise Data Warehouse. 
  • Provide first line support for reporting and portal related issues and enhancement requests. 
  • Deliver informal/formal hands-on training for internal departments. 
  • Examine and review unusual variances. Make recommendations when applicable for process improvement.


What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, or related field preferred with three years of work experience in a process driven environment.
  • Proven experience in working in Business Intelligence and/or Data Warehouse environment
  • Database (SQL) and BI tool (Tableau) experience preferred.
  • High level expertise in Excel required.
  • Familiar with standard concepts including statistical analysis methods, practices and procedures of management accounting. 
  • Seeks collaborative solutions to address customer issues. 
  • Exhibits clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Builds cross functional relationships.
  • Can articulate thought process and rationale behind decision making. 
  • Seeks out new tasks, training and coaching and assimilates feedback to improve performance.
